Projected 2023 Workload
Ezekiel Elliott was a massive sell for us before last season. Leaving Dallas and going to New England isn’t going to be great for his outlook. It should be assumed that he’ll be second fiddle to Rhamondre Stevenson and used as a block more often than many fantasy players would like.

Career Arc
Elliott has been one of the fantasy football’s most reliable scorers. He’s been in high volume situations, with good offensive lines on top of being one of the most talented backs we’ve seen in the last 10 years. Unfortunately, his best is behind him as we can not expect the Zeke of old moving forward.
Career Workload Score
Ezekiel Elliott is in the danger zone. He was a hard sell last season, it’ll be hard to get value for him via trade. We explain workload here.

How to Deploy
While it is impossible to to discern when any given players’ career will end, for fantasy it’s better to disinvest a year early as opposed to a year late. In a perfect world, fantasy managers will have moved on from Zeke in 2021. If anything he should be used as a handcuff to Rhamondre Stevenson
