Welcome to the Fantasy Football WK8 IDP NFC Interior Defensive Lineman Start/Sit Cheat Sheet Charts presented by GridironRatings.com Where the only original and proven IDP start/sit chart “cheat sheets” via The IDP Tipster can be found. And yes, there are a few imitators, but there is only one true original five-step formula IDP tactical tool. A formula with a well-tested history for over a decade and a proven high-hit rate in IDP play well before sharing it with the public four years ago. And all of that history and relevancy is only available here for G.R. fantasy football family members.

Individual Defensive Players

Fantasy Football WK8 IDP NFC Interior D-Lineman

Needing to split those IDP hairs between two or more players with the same color code? Besides our great Player Ratings located in the main menu, our Oddsmakers IDP tactical tools were originally intended to do just that. And they are located on our The IDP Tipster member page or perhaps even on our main article page.

Disclaimer: We do not suggest “reaching” for higher designated players over available known studs!

NEW! THE ORIGINAL START/SIT CHARTS AND ODDSMAKER “IN TANDEM TUTORIAL” ARTICLE

Fantasy Football WK8 IDP

The NFC Interior Defensive Lineman Start/Sit Cheat Sheet Charts contain all the interior defensive lineman in both NFL defensive schemes.

If you are looking for names like Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, or Danielle Hunter…

Those are defensive ends in the NFL’s 4-3 defensive scheme and are now located with the 3-4 schemed Outside Linebackers in the new Edge Rusher charts. So if you do not see your player’s name, and unsure as to why. They likely can be found there, where we apply an even deeper formula to get these weekly start/sits right for IDP sack-heavy formats.

NOTICE – Chart Key Marking Fine-Tuning Update

This was not applied to all the charts yet but will be by WK6. We are using a new STAR method this year that needed a better user-friendly feel.

Avoid Weak
1/5
Barley Solid
2/5
Firm Solid
3/5
Really Solid
4/5
Firm Strong
5/5

Questionable (?)  –  Out (O)

NFC North

Bears Interior D-Lineman

Akiem Hicks
2.5/5
Bilal Nichols
1.5/5
Roy Robertson-Harris
1/5
Brent Urban (?)
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As normal, Hicks is our only real target versus the Saints and as marked. His ceiling may be capped there, but he shouldn’t have any problems on paper hitting the solid mark with his own upside.

Lions Interior D-Lineman

Danny Shelton
1.5/5
Da’Shawn Hand
1.5/5
Nick Williams
1/5
Damon Harrison Sr.
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: It’s not a good week to test the on-paper results versus the Colts.

Packers Interior D-Lineman

Kenny Clark
4/5
Kingsly Keke
2/5
Dean Lowry
2/5
Tyler Lancaster
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Vikings. And following up from last week’s notes on Keke. He took a hit in snap counts in week 7. And those may go back up this week, but we can’t count on it. We suspect he’ll outplay his mark this week.

Vikings Interior D-Lineman

Jaleel Johnson
2/5
Shamar Stephen

Jaylin Holms

Panthers Interior D-Lineman

Derrick Brown
0/5
Kawann Short

Bravvion Roy

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Played Thursday.

Saints Interior D-Lineman

David Onyemata
2.5/5
Sheldon Rankins
2.5/5
Malcolm Brown
2/5
Shy Tuttle
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: If we only had more consistency and playing time to figure in versus the Bears. But we don’t. So instead of a really solid mark, we have to go with what’s on paper and add they may have some upside. There is just no way to add it in with confidence.

Buccaneers Interior D-Lineman

Ndamukong Suh
2.5/5
William Gholston
2.5/5
Rakeem Nunez-Roches
2/5
Vita Vea (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Giants. And adding, on paper this is barely just solid. But we’ll say just solid and ask you don’t expect any more than that.

NFC East

Cowboys Interior D-Lineman

Gerald McCoy (O)
0/5
Trysten Hill
1/5
Tyrone Crawford
1/5
Antwaun Woods
1/5
Neville Gallimore
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: They sit exactly where they have been all season. Even versus the Eagles who are friendly to the IDLs. The Cowboys released Poe and it looks like Gallimore has moved up. But we need to see it a few more times to believe it. So as normal, we suggest looking elsewhere to be safe.

Giants Interior D-Lineman

Dalvin Tomlinson
2/5
Leonard Williams
2/5
Dexter Lawrence (?)
2/5
B.J. Hill
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: This squad has impressed those fare. But on paper, this is likely their toughest matchup on paper versus the Buccaneers this week. And they play on Monday, so hoping that one can win your week for you is slime and not suggested.

Eagles Interior D-Lineman

Fletcher Cox
4/5
Javon Hargrave
2.5/5
Malik Jackson
2.5/5
Hassan Ridgeway (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Cox is our main target versus the Cowboys. And with Ridgeway on I.R. now we have to figure the other two get a bump in snaps. So we’ll call them solid enough with an upside that we can’t add.

Washington’s Interior D-Lineman

Jonathan Allen
0/5
Daron Payne
0/5
Tim Settle
0/5
Matt Ioannidis (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Bye Week.

NFC West

Cardinals Interior D-Lineman

Jordan Phillips (?)
0/5
Corey Peters
0/5
Angelo Blackson
0/5
Zach Allen (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Last week these main two guys got it done versus the Cowboys in what was an actual strong matchup on-paper. But we had marked them “just” solid siding on caution considering their overall body of work to that point. And for Phillips, he barely got it done in terms of base tackles (2), and if not for a forced fumble that he also recovered he wouldn’t have hit that mark at “just” solid. Peters also only recorded two tackles, and it was a tackle for loss and pass defended that might have saved his day pending owners league formats.

With all that laid out, this week it is a really strong matchup versus the Seahawks on paper, not strong. And the best we can mark them is the same as last week and wish anyone going here good luck. There are actually, maybe all of them, better suggest waiver wire players at the IDL we would rather play than to risk this in our pickup article this week.

Rams Interior D-Lineman

Aaron Donald
3.5/5
Michael Brockers
2.5/5
Morgan Fox
2/5
Sebastian Joseph-Day
2/5
A’Shawn Robinson
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Dolphins. And adding that Robinson has been activated and will likely start having an impact on some of these players playing time. And we only gave what’s on paper this time around. Donald is doing “ok”, but far from overachieving lately. Just understand that this can go either way and there is an upside we aren’t adding to each player due to the circumstances.

49ers Interior D-Lineman

D.J. Jones
2.5/5
Javon Kinlaw
2.5/5
Kevin Givens
2.5/5
Kentavius Street
2/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: With everyone listed healthy, the 49ers have increased their rotation percentages. And that’s not helped because everyone is getting about the same amount of time on the field. This matchup on paper is actually strong. But that increased rotation has all knocked down to as marked. Someone is likely to overachieve and good luck figuring out who that is.

Seahawks Interior D-Lineman

Jarran Reed
2.5/5
Poona Ford
2.5/5
Bryan Mone
2/5
Jonathan Bullard
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the 49ers and adding that it is barely just solid on paper.
