Welcome to the Fantasy Football WK6 IDP NFC Interior Defensive Lineman Start/Sit Cheat Sheet Charts presented by GridironRatings.com Where the only original and proven IDP start/sit chart “cheat sheets” via The IDP Tipster can be found. And yes, there are a few imitators, but there is only one true original five-step formula IDP tactical tool. A formula with a well-tested history for over a decade and a proven high-hit rate in IDP play well before sharing it with the public four years ago. And all of that history and relevancy is only available here for G.R. fantasy football family members.

Individual Defensive Players

Needing to split those IDP hairs between two or more players with the same color code? Besides our great Player Ratings located in the main menu, our Oddsmakers IDP tactical tools were originally intended to do just that. And they are located on our The IDP Tipster member page or perhaps even on our main article page.

Disclaimer: We do not suggest “reaching” for higher designated players over available known studs!

Fantasy Football WK6 IDP

The NFC Interior Defensive Lineman Start/Sit Cheat Sheet Charts contain all the interior defensive lineman in both NFL defensive schemes.

If you are looking for names like Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, or Danielle Hunter…

Those are defensive ends in the NFL’s 4-3 defensive scheme and are now located with the 3-4 schemed Outside Linebackers in the new Edge Rusher charts. So if you do not see your players name, and unsure as to why. They likely can be found there, where we apply an even deeper formula to get these weekly start/sits right for IDP sack-heavy formats.

Week 6 / NFC Interior D-Lineman

NOTICE – Chart Key Marking Fine-Tuning Update

This was not applied to all the charts yet but will be by WK6. We are using a new STAR method this year that needed a better user-friendly feel.

Avoid Weak

Barley Solid
2/5

3/5
Really Solid
4/5
Firm Strong
5/5

Questionable (?)  –  Out (O)

Doubtful  –  (D)  –  Injuried Reserve (IR)

NFC North

Bears Interior D-Lineman

Akiem Hicks
2.5/5
Roy Robertson-Harris
1/5
Bilal Nichols
1/5
Brent Urban (?)
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As normal, Hicks is our only real target, and it’s not the hottest matchup again this week on paper for him versus the Panthers. But his consistency will carry him via our formula as he’ll get enough to be “just” solid and should at least get that on Sunday.

Lions Interior D-Lineman

Danny Shelton
2.5/5
Da’Shawn Hand
1/5
Nick Williams
1/5
Damon Harrison Sr.
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: A little bit of a “catch 22” here with this group. On paper, it really is a solid matchup and we would think someone will overachieve. But realistically we had to really think hard here due to the lack of overall productivity across the board before the bye-week. We’ll give Shelton his as he leads this group in weekly average, just know he barely made it to “just” solid.

Packers Interior D-Lineman

Kenny Clark
2/5
Kingsly Keke
2/5
Dean Lowry
1/5
Tyler Lancaster
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: The great news is that owners are getting Clark back this week. The bad news, the buccaneers aren’t all that kind to the IDLs. And in any other case, we would give Clark his due upside. But in this case, coming off a groin injury that had already been lingering before he was out, we’ll mark them as the on-paper results worked out.

An interesting thing we’ll keep an eye on is Keke. He was actually looking pretty decent while Clark was out. And if they keep giving him the upper snaps, and him and Clark jive, we may have another IDL play on the Packers. Something we haven’t had in a very long time.

Vikings Interior D-Lineman

Jaleel Johnson
1.5/5
Shamar Stephen
1/5
Jaylin Holms
1.5/5
Armon Watts
1/5
Michael Pierce (O)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Stable was a word we used last week after a few weeks of consistency in playing time among the group. So what happens? Last week it flipped and those that had been didn’t and the ones that hadn’t got more playing time. Oh, they face the Falcons, and yes they still sit dead last in allowing production to the IDLs.

NFC south

Falcons Interior D-Lineman

Grady Jarrett
4/5
Allen Bailey
1.5/5
Marlon Davidson (O)
0/5
Tyeler Davison
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Stable and if we only had some help on this D-line around Jarrett to take a little attention off him versus the Vikings. That is the only reason he isn’t a five-star play this week versus a team allowing some of the best production to the IDLs.

Panthers Interior D-Lineman

Derrick Brown
2.5/5
Kawann Short
1.2/5
Zach Kerr
1/5
Bravvion Roy
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Stable and noting that they have been marked weakish or talked about in notes as a “reach”. And so far, it’s been the results in each contest. But here is the turn around point versus the Bears. Just know that the matchup is actually more than just strong. But we aren’t going that fare as they have been far from proven themselves worthy overall.

And when we say they or them, we mean the only target on here with the rookie Brown.

Saints Interior D-Lineman

David Onyemata
0/5
Sheldon Rankins
0/5
Malcom Brown
0/5
Margus Hunt
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Bye-Week.

Buccaneers Interior D-Lineman

Ndamukong Suh
2.5/5
William Gholston
2.5/5
Rakeem Nunez-Roches
1/5
Vita Vea (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: This group has done well up to this point. But when it comes to the Packers this week we have no upside to add. We’ll simply mention they have got what’s there on paper overall and now they don’t have their beast Vea in the middle. With that said, they barely made the “just” solid range.

NFC East

Cowboys Interior D-Lineman

Gerald McCoy (O)
0/5
Trysten Hill
1/5
Tyrone Crawford
1/5
Antwaun Woods
1/5
Dontari Poe
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Stable at continuing to be avoided versus the Cardinals.

Giants Interior D-Lineman

Dalvin Tomlinson
3.5/5
Leonard Williams
2.5/5
Dexter Lawrence (?)
2.5/5
B.J. Hill
2/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: We are leaving them right where they were last week for the most part. It’s in the same range playing Washington as it was versus the Cowboys last week. Which we had one overachieve with Tomlinson, one was on par until he hurt his knee (Lawrence), and Williams was shut down. But all three carry a nice weekly average overall and all get the job done almost every week. What we are doing in reducing the one that is hurt and the one shut down, but not out of the realm of using them. And a warning, we may see Hill rotating in a little more to relieve the snap counts for Lawrence.

Eagles Interior D-Lineman

Fletcher Cox
3/5
Javon Hargrave
3/5
Malik Jackson
2/5
Hassan Ridgeway
1.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Stable and real solid matchup versus the Ravens. And the only reason we aren’t going full-on 4 stars is that the group hasn’t always gotten what’s on paper. So we just may see someone overachieve here.

Washington’s Interior D-Lineman

Jonathan Allen
2.5/5
Daron Payne
1.5/5
Tim Settle
1.5/5
Matt Ioannidis (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Stable and was great to see Allen come up last week as we marked. But looking at these players (Allen/Payne) snap counts, we have to be a little worried. With Loannidis hitting I.R. they went from a huge timeshare to overplaying. Payne went for 88% of the snaps last week and Allen for 78%. Those are numbers that will wear down an IDL real fast. So if they don’t get that production in the first half, the second half normally nets very little. It’s something we need to monitor and know going forward.

This week they face off with the Giants O-line. And as we have mentioned before they allow all the production off theedge and not the interior. We’ll give Allen his upside, but we’ll temper any idea he’ll overachieve in this one.

NFC West

Cardinals Interior D-Lineman

Corey Peters
2.5/5
Jordan Phillips
2.5/5
Zach Allen
2/5
Angelo Blackson
1.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Stable at not producing consistently after not taking advantage of the matchup versus the Jets last week. We are going to leave them right where they were last week versus the middle of the pack Jets. And the only reason we are is that the Cowboys are an entire tier above the Jets in the on-paper results. Just know you are dealing with a mediocre group versus a great opportunity and don’t get excited.

Rams Interior D-Lineman

Aaron Donald
3.5/5
Michael Brockers
2/5
Morgan Fox
2/5
Sebastian Joseph-Day
2/5
A’Shawn Robinson (O)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Going to note, I sure hope you read the notes last week on Donald. I typed them out and forgot to raise his marks versus the Washington team.

With that said, he’ll (they’ll) have a much rougher contest versus the 49ers this week than they did last contest. But nowhere near rough enough to not expect Donald to get in the backfield.

49ers Interior D-Lineman

D.J. Jones
2.5/5
Javon Kinlaw
2.5/5
Kevin Givens
1.5/5
Kentavius Street
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: After bragging how this group was actually rounding out nicely they came up just under par last week versus the Dolphins. And this week it’s a divisional game versus the Rams who sit right where the on-paper results were with Miami. With that said, he’ll note that they didn’t take advantage last contest and go “just solid” in what’s going to be a tough contest.

Seahawks Interior D-Lineman

Jarran Reed
0/5
Poona Ford
0/5
Bryan Mone
0/5
Anthoney Rush
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Bye-Week.
