All original and proven IDP fantasy football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average,  of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.

The IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts Relevance

Users of these charts should always keep certain things in mind when using these charts.

  1. The fifth element of the five step formula used is the mind behind it’s innovation. So there is a human aspect to reading these results and the delivery.
  2. All input into these charts are raw at the beginning of the seasons until the core information catches up with that seasons data, stat, and trends. The first three weeks on average are basically a warm up period. As some end of the year information from the prior season is included. This is until on average around week four of each season we have established the current season’s own material. This in turn is the strength of the charts. And just in time for the important bye-weeks.
  3. Never sit a stud! As a disclaimer and delivery we need to always keep in mind that sitting a known” stud” over a player that is not isn’t advisable. The charts are meant to split the IDP hairs among the level of players talent. And it is never advisable to “reach” for a player in play if those “IDP hairs” are minimal.
  4. These Charts are based on match ups versus talent of said players when it is boiled down to it. And trusting the charts do take a commitment. That is not included in our delevery and soley on the users.

IDP Outside Linebackers are listed here?

The outside linebackers in the 3-4 defensive scheme are listed here as edge rushers. The are basically stand-up defensive ends in the 4-3 scheme, comparably. The outside linebackers in the 4-3 are listed in the inside linebacker charts. Splitting those IDP Fantasy Football hairs!

Week Nine

East Notes:

Cowboys: Versus the giants. As marked and noting that Lawrence is an on-paper, and he’ll be risky because he has yet been dominate this season or consistent.

Giants: Versus the Cowboys. As marked. Overall the Cowboys don’t allow a lot of points at all to the opposing DLs. It’s not a great time to test that theory this week.

Eagles: Versus the Bears. As marked. And a “kinda” warning on Avery. We don’t know his role, and we might find out it effects Graham’s and Bennett’s snap counts.

Redskins: Versus the Bills. As marked noting that all solid players have some up-side on paper this contest.

West Notes:

Cardinals: Played Thursday Night.

Rams: Bye Week.

Seahawks: Versus the Buccaneers. As marked. And there are indications that Green and Ansah could be on standard sized waiver wires. They can only be looked at as “just” solid bye week plays as they both ran around the 50% snap counts in a rotation. The remaining weak players just aren’t getting it done nor have much of a snap count.

Reed did not do much with his 82% snap count last week, his first week back. But he is likely getting his “game legs” back after being out on SSPD. The snap counts alone via what the Bucs allow in points to the DTs has him firmly in strong. But of course with risk.

49ers: Played Thursday Night.

North Notes: “Shaky” Be sure to read notes.

Bears: Versus the Eagles. Little bit of a warning, This is way more solid for the bye week plays Nichols and Robertson than for Mack on-paper. The Eagles will allow upper points to the interior line over the edge. Mack gets a boost to solid based on talent.

Lions: Versus the Raiders. The Lions out-performed last contest and likely was a case of everyone that did seemed to get a boost in snap counts. Kennard will always get his. But if everyone is healthy Flowers and Hand become risky. Both still were solid based on the idea that the talent should get them in the solid enough range via the formula.

Packers: Versus the Chargers. All risky. Based on talent vs. the formula…..don’t sit a stud! And Clark holds the most risk on paper.

Vikings: Versus the Chiefs. The warning is actually on Hunter. The Chiefs have sat in the lower third in rankings for some time in allowing points to the edge. But Hunter is a top talent and the Chiefs are starting Moore via the reports at QB. Stephen is “just” a solid bye week play if needing one. They do allow the interior DL “solid” points  but Stephen consistency can be hit or miss on the match-ups.

South Notes:

Falcons: Bye Week

Panthers: Versus the Titans. All of these DLs should have some decent to above solid production versus the Titans who across the board always do. But, With Addison, Burns, and Irving. If all three play (Burns (hand) did not last week) either their will be more of a rotation or the threat of one not getting much time at all. When all are a go Irving has been the one in the past to bring up the tail end. As for the Solid, the rotation at DT is large, but again this is the Titans. And Butler is the player that has really took advantage in producing as of late. He’ll have some “upside” over just solid McCoy and Poe on paper.

Saints: Bye Week.

Buccaneers: Versus the Seahawks. J.P.P did end up playing last weekend. And indications are he could still be on a few waiver wires. The overall warning here is the end result of snap counts among the three solid players.

J.P.P: 68%

Nassib: 83%

Barrett: 60%

Heading into J.P.P.’s second week back that might fluctuate again. And only the threat of this is why they are marked solid. Because on paper the Seahawks allow top ten points to the edge players. It is a little shocking by those snap counts to see that Barrett was the player taking the real hit. Again, this match-up for these three is strong enough that at the least we should see them at least get solid production.
