All original and proven IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average,  of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.

The IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts Relevance At Stake

Users of these charts should always keep certain things in mind when using these charts.

  1. The fifth element of the five step formula used is the mind behind it’s innovation. So there is a human aspect to reading these results and the delivery.
  2. All input into these charts are raw at the beginning of the seasons until the core information catches up with that seasons data, stat, and trends. The first three weeks on average are basically a warm up period. As some end of the year information from the prior season is included. This is until on average around week four of each season we have established the current season’s own material. This in turn is the strength of the charts. And just in time for the important bye-weeks.
  3. Never sit a stud! As a disclaimer and delivery we need to always keep in mind that sitting a known” stud” over a player that is not isn’t advisable. The charts are meant to split the IDP hairs among the level of players talent. And it is never advisable to “reach” for a player in play if those “IDP hairs” are minimal.
  4. These Charts are based on match ups versus talent of said players when it is boiled down to it. And trusting the charts do take a commitment. That is not included in our delevery and soley on the users.

AFC SS/FS IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts

Week Eight

East Notes:

Bills: Versus The Eagles. As marked.

Dolphins: Versus the Steelers. Jones at the moment hasn’t returned to practice. We don’t have a viable safety to suggest in his place via how they used cornerbacks last week over safeties.

Patriots: Versus the Browns. As marked.

Jets: Versus the Jaguars. As marked but noting that any given contest these two safeties have that “upside” to out perform the on-paper formula.

West Notes:

Broncos: Versus the Colts. As marked. A middle of the pack match-up.

Chiefs: Versus the Packers. As marked.

Chargers: Versus the Bears. An on paper and stable match-up. Either one of these could end up as a strong play.

Raiders: Versus The Texans. The snap counts have leveled off. Harris has his “upside”. Him and Joseph have been getting the 100% snap counts while Joyner has fell off to around 70% on average. In this contest versus the Texans Joyner could be a deep deep green bye week play. But because of the snap counts we’ll just suggest Harris.

North Notes:

Ravens: Bye Week. And leaving this Dime Drop link up for owners looking to stash players ahead.

See Dime Drop: What’s Up Chuck.

Bengals: Versus the Rams. The on-paper came out as a weak play. But we know the state of the Bengals defense and the roles these two play. There is no reason to suggest that they won’t remain solid in any given contest.

Browns: Versus the Patriots. Thanks to the browns already declaring Randell out we have three green bye week plays to choose from. All three will come into play. The indications are that Murry will likely be the guy getting the full time snaps over Burnett.

Randall (hamstring) was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Patriots, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Spin: The 27-year-old sustained the hamstring injury Week 6 against the Seahawks and was unable to practice coming out of the Browns’ bye this week. Eric Murray figures to see increased defensive snaps in Randall’s absence Week 8.
Note: How that is worded is a little deceiving. In week 6 with all the safeties healthy the snaps were…
White head and Randell 100%, Murry 70%, and Burnett at 25%. So if that trend sticks it should be Whitehead and Murry 100% and Burnett around that 75%. Game flow might predict Burnett. So it’s our opinion he is the deeper bye week play.

Steelers: Versus the Dolphins. As marked. A top notch strong here.

South Notes:

Texans: Versus the Raiders. Now matter how we approach it the Raiders just aren’t allowing much to the safeties. They remain at the rock bottom in allowing points to them.

With that being said, we won’t worry about a potential bye week play if Gipson is out.

Colts: Versus The Broncos. Hooker is reportedly back and ready to play. And he has been dropped in many leagues. The warning is coming off the injury which Hooker shows up this contest. The one from last year that was a IDP dessert. Or the one from earlier this season who managed to get some production worth noting. With a few other green bye week options out there we may want to shy away on Hooker.

Jaguars: Versus the Jets. As marked. And mentioning that Wilson should make for a solid bye week play considering the on-paper “upside”. The jets “gift” points to the safeties.

Titans: Versus the Buccaneers. The warning on paper is that they are barely solid on paper. And what Byard earns will likely depend on the team’s cornerbacks in the deep routes. Which is where the Bucs allow the points to the cornerbacks at a high rate.
