All original and proven IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average,  of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.

The IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts Relevance At Stake

Users of these charts should always keep certain things in mind when using these charts.

  1. The fifth element of the five step formula used is the mind behind it’s innovation. So there is a human aspect to reading these results and the delivery.
  2. All input into these charts are raw at the beginning of the seasons until the core information catches up with that seasons data, stat, and trends. The first three weeks on average are basically a warm up period. As some end of the year information from the prior season is included. This is until on average around week four of each season we have established the current season’s own material. This in turn is the strength of the charts. And just in time for the important bye-weeks.
  3. Never sit a stud! As a disclaimer and delivery we need to always keep in mind that sitting a known” stud” over a player that is not isn’t advisable. The charts are meant to split the IDP hairs among the level of players talent. And it is never advisable to “reach” for a player in play if those “IDP hairs” are minimal.
  4. These Charts are based on match ups versus talent of said players when it is boiled down to it. And trusting the charts do take a commitment. That is not included in our delevery and soley on the users.

AFC ILB IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts

Week Eight

East Notes: Fun Unit this week!

Bills: Versus the Eagles. According to reports Alexander has a real chance to be a green bye week play with Milano real “iffy”. Be sure to track the injury reports. On paper this time around the match-up is solid enough.

Dolphins: Versus the Steelers. The warning is that they are barely solid on paper. The Steelers don’t allow a lot of points to the ILBs on average. Tempering expectations in this contest might be best. There is still a chance that the snap counts fluctuate as well.

Patriots: Versus the Browns. This match-up on paper is actually strong. But the rotation and snap counts have us sticking to a safe slot with “upside”. Game flow will likely determine how much production these guys could be in for.

Jets: Versus the Jaguars. Injures have Cashman in play again this week. On paper we are just solid. But if Hewitt is actually out again and joins Mosely, Cashman has all kinds of “upside”.

West Notes: Terrible! All West Opponents Are Bottom 1/3 In Allowing Points To The ILBs. Plus The Situations On A Couple IS Poor.

Broncos: Versus the Colts. It’s a weak on-paper. And Johnson didn’t perform well last contest and fell to 70% of the snaps. The only one to trust is Davis. And that is the only reason he is barely solid.

Chiefs: Versus the Packers. Sure a couple did produce last week. But the Packers are bottom five in allowing points. And here are the snap counts from last week.

Niemann: 51%

Hitchens: 48%

Wilson: 49%

Ragland: 38%

This rotation might not be the case this week, or will it? Either way that possibility plus opponent’s match-up equals a weak avoid when there are so many other ILBs likely on the waiver wire if we need them.

Chargers:  Versus the Bears. Another rock bottom five on-paper match-up. And here is your snap counts.

Davis: 83%

Perryman: 69%

Tranquill: 33%

White: 34%

“If” you got to go here it looks like the up-side is with Davis and Perryman as normal. But that doesn’t change the fact that on-paper the Bears are bottom five in the league allowing points to ILBs.

Raiders: Versus the Texans. Yet another terrible match up on paper. But this one with the Texans is a bottom three. At least Morrow and Whitehead are both currently 100% snap count guys. If that matters.

North Notes:

Ravens: Bye Week

Bengals: Versus the Rams. Barely solid for Vigil, and only there because he is the only 100% snap count guy. Brown has slowly given way to the rookie Pratt in playing time. The last contest it was Brown with 60% and Pratt at 30%. With this in mind in the formula and the “not so” solid match-up, we’ll go as marked.

Browns: Versus the Patriots. As marked and noting that if you were lucky enough to catch the IDP Dime Drop article about playoff targets and picked up Wilson, be sure to hold on to him. If you haven’t I would locate that article and look for Wilson on the waiver wire in your leagues.

Steelers: Versus the Dolphins. Solid match-up and noting that we should have likely left Barron off the list. He is questionable anyhow, but at the same time the Steelers can’t seem to quite Williams. There is risk reaching for the green bye week play with Williams if Barron plays. They may turn to packages that split up the snap counts among the two.

South Notes:

Texans: Versus the Raiders.  As marked. And noting that on-paper their “upside” is the only reason they are solid.

Colts: Versus the Broncos. As marked. great match-up. It’s too bad that the Colts came out of the bye week week last week only given Walker 50% of the snaps. Okereke cut in some with about 25%. Walker owners might not want to risk it here. But to note the match-up on paper is very strong and is why we do go ahead and keep Walker solid….but with real risk.

Jaguars: Versus the Jets. Strong as it gets on paper. And everyone is out but Jack and the two players mentioned below. Which we just can’t bring ourselves to diving that deep on when there are so many others likely available.

Malcolm Smith and Calitro will likely see snaps at LB vs. Jets due to attrition there, says Marrone. #Jaguars

Titans: Versus the Buccaneers. As marked. Brown is back and ready to go via recent reports pending a set-back.
