All original and proven IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average,  of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.

The IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts Relevance

Users of these charts should always keep certain things in mind when using these charts.

  1. The fifth element of the five step formula used is the mind behind it’s innovation. So there is a human aspect to reading these results and the delivery.
  2. All input into these charts are raw at the beginning of the seasons until the core information catches up with that seasons data, stat, and trends. The first three weeks on average are basically a warm up period. As some end of the year information from the prior season is included. This is until on average around week four of each season we have established the current season’s own material. This in turn is the strength of the charts. And just in time for the important bye-weeks.
  3. Never sit a stud! As a disclaimer and delivery we need to always keep in mind that sitting a known” stud” over a player that is not isn’t advisable. The charts are meant to split the IDP hairs among the level of players talent. And it is never advisable to “reach” for a player in play if those “IDP hairs” are minimal.
  4. These Charts are based on match ups versus talent of said players when it is boiled down to it. And trusting the charts do take a commitment. That is not included in our delevery and soley on the users.

IDP Outside Linebackers are listed here?

The outside linebackers in the 3-4 defensive scheme are listed here as edge rushers. The are basically stand-up defensive ends in the 4-3 scheme, comparably. The outside linebackers in the 4-3 are listed in the inside linebacker charts. Splitting those IDP Fantasy Football hairs!

Easy Start/Sit Charts

East Notes:

Bills: Versus The Eagles. As marked and the interior DLs are appealing on paper as bye week plays. There is likely no “upside”, but solid enough.

Dolphins: Versus the Steelers. As marked on paper. The Steelers are rock bottom in stats to the DLs. Godchaux “might” have his “upside” to solid. And he has proven to be a bit match-up proof. So you could do worse if you decided to leave him in.

Patriots: Versus the Browns. As marked. And noting that the heavy rotation remains in tack. Simon would have some real appeal this contest in how he pulls off the numbers with a small portion of snaps. But via the formula it would have been to risky to “upside” him into solid.

Jets: Versus the Jaguars. It’s the out side guys that have the appeal in this match-up if you need to go there. Copeland had a great contest last time and racked it up. But his portion of snaps are another player that we just can’t “upside” in this case.

West Notes:

Broncos: Versus the Colts. As marked and it actually has some upside. But really noting that Von Miller is officially not the Von Miller of old. And it actually reflects in his snap count as he is no longer getting 95% + snaps. More around 80% on average. Still good and high, but just another sign they see he isn’t that guy anymore.

Chiefs: Versus the Packer. As marked according to what position the formula says that the Packers allow the points to. And the green bye week plays are still there for the most part. But they are trending and being picked up as depth for future match-ups. So time might be limited.

Chargers: Versus the Bears. Only Bosa has “upside” and should out perform this weak on-paper match-up. And noting that Ingram is trending to return soon and will likely affect Nwosu’s playing time. We’ve had him as a bye week play a couple of times and that might be coming to a end soon.

Raiders: Versus the Texans. As marked and noting it isn’t often we have been able to insert them based on the huge rotation they use. But that leveled out last contest. And Crosby is firmly on the radar after receiving most of the snaps of all the DLs last contest out of the blue. And did well with his playing time in IDP production. But this was out of the blue with him so know that at this point it is still risky to insert him. We need to see this a few weeks in a row to really feel safe about it. Also adding they are all green eligible as their ownership percentages are down due to that previous rotation and the resulting production.

North Notes:

Ravens: Bye Week

Bengals: Versus the Rams. 2 things, Brown will come into play as a green bye week guy if Dunlap is out again. And Billings isn’t as solid as Atkins. But solid enough.

Browns: Versus the Patriots. As marked and noting that for the edge rushers this isn’t all that. Garrett gets his boost to solid based on talent and not the formula via on paper.

Steelers: Versus the Dolphins. Here is to hoping Watt is a go on Monday night. Perhaps a back up plan with one of the others there would be in order.

South Notes:

Texans: Versus the Raiders. Sure someone is going to get something in IDP production. But the fact that the Raiders have managed to stay rock bottom in allowing points to DLs/Edge rushers really tips the scale in the formula. We’ll go safe and stay weak.

Colts: Versus the Denver. As marked.

Jaguars: Versus the Jets. As marked.

Titans: Versus the One of the best match-ups on paper this week. Too bad the rotation last contest among the weak players was just that bad. And J. Simmons is firmly on the radar, but went off last week with a small share of snaps. So he really isn’t safe as a green bye week play unless Casey is out.
