IDP Chat Room

All original and proven IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average,  of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.

The IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts Relevance At Stake

Users of these charts should always keep certain things in mind when using these charts.

  1. The fifth element of the five step formula used is the mind behind it’s innovation. So there is a human aspect to reading these results and the delivery.
  2. All input into these charts are raw at the beginning of the seasons until the core information catches up with that seasons data, stat, and trends. The first three weeks on average are basically a warm up period. As some end of the year information from the prior season is included. This is until on average around week four of each season we have established the current season’s own material. This in turn is the strength of the charts. And just in time for the important bye-weeks.
  3. Never sit a stud! As a disclaimer and delivery we need to always keep in mind that sitting a known” stud” over a player that is not isn’t advisable. The charts are meant to split the IDP hairs among the level of players talent. And it is never advisable to “reach” for a player in play if those “IDP hairs” are minimal.
  4. These Charts are based on match ups versus talent of said players when it is boiled down to it. And trusting the charts do take a commitment. That is not included in our delevery and soley on the users.

Week Five

TheIDPTipster.com

East Notes:

Bills: Versus the Titans. As marked. Noting this maybe the worse “on paper” IDP production contest for the unit this season.  Poyer and his consistent output is only reason we gave him his “upside”. But if there is another “solid” play available this one is likely riskier.

Dolphins: BYE WEEK

Patriots: Versus the Redskins. Actually a strong match-up on paper. If the Patriots don’t put the game away early and start sitting players. With Chung already called “out” reportedly Harmon “should” get a bigger role. There is risk here as a deep bye week play. One, it is the Patriots who we know all bets are off on any given contest how they do things. And the second is Harmon himself. A long time Patriot that has never managed to make a IDP impact enough to trust. With only two teams on bye weeks there might be better plays to trust.

Jets: Versus the Eagles. As marked. Noting that Adams always carries his “upside” in his role with the defense. And via the formula on paper we just couldn’t come up with enough “upside” for Maye this time around.

West Notes:

Broncos: Versus the Chargers.  As marked. But mentioning that if Jackson is out Parks would be solid enough as a deep bye week play to get just solid IDP production. And last report was Jackson was trending to play.

Chiefs: Versus the the Chargers. As marked noting that Mathieu always holds his “upside”. And that for some reason last contest Thornhill’s snap count dropped by 10%-15% last contest to 84%.

Chargers: Versus the Broncos. On paper solid. The rookie Adderley can’t stay healthy and is doubtful. Teamer is reportedly going to hold onto his starting SS role. And on paper as well as what ESPN has done for %ROST, both of these guys are on the waiver wires. This is a solid getting over the hump deep bye week play with either. Got to add, either with upside in the divisional match-up.

Raiders: Versus the Bears. Completely on paper mid-range solid. But considering the Bears situation at QB this does have some “upside”. The real warning here is on Harris. He ended up playing 100% of the snap counts last contest and made big production. The problem is that he got those snaps out of the blue and there isn’t any trust yet he’ll keep rolling. The same situation popped up last season. At least back then, it bit people in the butt reaching for him. We need to see more. The golden rule is three weeks in a row for a secure play.

North Notes:

Ravens: Versus the Browns. After not living up to the match-ups the first couple of weeks, Jefferson and Thomas both out-performed the match-up last week versus the Chiefs. We give them that credit in this divisional match-up.

Bengals: Versus the Steelers. There is a bit of “upside” to strong, but on paper it wasn’t enough to slot them higher. They likely out perform here.

Browns: Versus the Ravens. Randell will make his return. Burnett isn’t looking good to play. Solid match-up, trick will be who plays and who gets the snaps.

Steelers: Versus the Bengals. As marked.

South Notes:

Texans: Versus the Falcons. As marked. Noting that the latest reports are Gipson will be able to go.

Colts: Versus the Chiefs. On paper via the formula this match-up is hot. And reportedly Odum replaces Geathers at strong safety. And Willis will replace Hooker who missed the last contest at free safety. So on paper this is strong enough to suggest at the worse these guys should end up at least solid. But it has to be said that this might be the strongest “on-paper” deep bye week plays out here this weekend.

Jaguars: Versus the Panthers. Not loving this one on paper. Sure they’ll likely be “ok”, but we are going to note that Harrison is solid because of his role at strong safety. Game flow might go Wilson’s way, but “might” doesn’t get it done here.

Titans: Versus the Bills. As marked. Josh Allen is good to go, the Titans safeties are good to go.
