Jimmy Garoppolo, Super Bowl champion, is looking to lead a team of his own in 2020. The 49ers have surrounded him with a stout defense and phenomenal running game. Jimmy GQ has been mostly an afterthought despite being one of the best of 2019. Widely considered a game manager by the viewing public, Jimmy G actually ranked 12th in passing yards, 6th in passing TD and T-4th QB in completion percentage. His 13 INTs notwithstanding, he was one of the more efficient QB’s in the league. He had 10 games of 240+ passing yards, 4 games of 3+ TDs and 9 games of completing at least 70%. Look for Jimmy GQ to continue to be a top QB for years to come.
