Welcome to this week’s DFS breakdown, where we dive deep into the tipping points of the slate, the best stacks, mini-stacks, and individual plays to help you build a winning lineup. The beauty of this week’s slate is the wide range of options, especially at quarterback and running back, where some high-upside players are simply mispriced. We’ll break down the main stacks that could lead to explosive results, look at some game-specific mini-stacks that could be the key to unlocking hidden value, and cover position-by-position recommendations to round out your lineup. Whether you’re all-in on a high-octane game stack or looking for those under-the-radar plays that everyone else is missing, I’ve got you covered with the analysis and insight to help you crush your GPPs.

Tipping Points

I want to take a different approach and focus on the key anchors to begin. These are the players projected to be extremely popular, and I'll discuss how I plan to handle their high ownership in my lineups. This section will contain any player projecting around 30% ownership on the main slate.

RB Bucky Irving

Rachaad White is out and we have seen how electric Irving has been this year. The Saints run defense has gone three weeks in a row thile being susceptible to the run and have allowed some big rushing days to Saquon Barkley and Kareem Hunt. He’s about $1,500 too cheap and I will be using him in a gamestack with the Saints.

$6,000 RBs

Bijan Robinson, Chuba Hubbard, Tony Pollard are all seeing over 20% ownership. Robinson is my favorite of the three because of how bad this Panthers run defense is and Pollard being my second with how bad the Colts run defense has been. Hubbard is going to see so much volume and has been really good while the Falcons haven’t been a good run defense. I think it’s fine to play both Hubbard and Bijan in lineups but I prefer Pollard or Irving over him.

Main Stacks

I will put these in order of preference for the weekend. I have a few QBs in the pool that I like quite a bit.

QB Spencer Rattler + WR Chris Olave + WR Rashid Shaheed + RB Bucky Irving + WR Chris Godwin

I’m really liking a lot of options at other positions this weekend, and with a $4,000 QB on the slate, I’m eager to buy into that value and correlate the entire game because it’s so affordable. The Buccaneers’ secondary has been shaky, and you can beat them over the top if you have the right pieces—which I believe the Saints do. Spencer Rattler will likely be looking for Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed on almost every passing down, making this a volatile, high-upside play.

For the 1 pm Only slate, I’ll be running this game back exactly as described, stacking the Saints' offense. On the main slate, I may just focus on the Saints stack and mix in other pieces elsewhere. Rachaad White has looked strong, and the Saints' run defense has shown some vulnerability, so he’s in play as a solid option. Also, Chris Godwin is seeing great usage, and with Marshon Lattimore likely locking down Mike Evans, Godwin could see even more targets, making him another strong play to consider in this matchup.

QB Jayden Daniels + WR Terry McLaurin / RB Derrick Henry

This is the most popular game on the slate, and I’m looking to approach it with a strategy focused on Daniels playing from behind and a big game on the ground for Henry. Washington hasn’t really been tested offensively, but that changes this week against the Ravens, and I expect Derrick Henry to have a standout performance.

In the passing game, the focus should flow through Terry McLaurin, who will likely see one-on-one coverage against rookie Nate Wiggins. This sets up McLaurin for a strong game. Plus, with Daniels' rushing ability and no Brian Robinson to vulture goal-line touchdowns, Daniels has even more upside, making him a key part of this build. This combination of Henry's ground game and Daniels' dual-threat potential gives this approach high upside while differentiating from more common stacks in this popular game.

QB Jalen Hurts + WR AJ Brown + WR DeVonta Smith

An Eagles onslaught stack is definitely going to fly under the radar this week, but it has great potential. The matchup against a Cleveland defense that has struggled in coverage this season creates a prime opportunity for Philadelphia to get their offense rolling. With A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith both returning, the Eagles' passing game should be in full force.

Cleveland’s secondary hasn’t been able to contain wide receivers, and Jalen Hurts will have plenty of chances to exploit that weakness with Brown and Smith back in the mix. Stacking Hurts with both of them, along with potentially adding Dallas Goedert as a tight end option, could deliver a high-upside, low-ownership play. This Eagles stack could easily put up big numbers while others overlook it, making it a strong contrarian option for the slate.

QB Kyler Murray + WR Marvin Harrison Jr. + TE Trey McBride / RB Josh Jacobs + WR Dontayvion Wicks

I see this game turning into a shootout, easily surpassing the current 47-point total, and I want to buy into it fully. I’m targeting both of Murray’s top options—Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride. For Murray to be optimal this week, he needs to be a dual-threat, both running and passing. The Packers' secondary has plenty of holes, and Murray can take advantage of that to connect on big plays down the field.

On the Packers’ side, I expect the offense to continue leaning on Josh Jacobs to set up the passing game. I’m particularly high on Wicks this weekend—it’s a great bounce-back opportunity after some missed chances in recent games, and he has the potential to put up points in this matchup. With the potential for a shootout and some key playmakers involved, this game stack has a ton of upside.

Mini Stacks

Texans @ Patriots

RB Joe Mixon WR Ja’Lynn Polk

Mixon is healthy enough to play and the Patrtios have gone three straight weekends getting beat up in the run game. The last time Mixon played a full game he saw over 30 touches and the field is not getting to him this weekend.

Polk’s my sleeper play this weekend and a great salary savior at the position. Polk is one of the top tier rookie WR’s I have watched on film and it’s going to show up in the box score eventually.

Lions @ Cowboys

RB Jahmyr Gibbs WR CeeDee Lamb

I’m expecting this game to turn into a shootout, and these two players are primed to be the reason why. The Cowboys’ run defense has been dreadful, setting up a huge game for Jahmyr Gibbs. While David Montgomery is also in play and could see solid production, I’m leaning toward Gibbs because of his explosive rushing ability and big-play potential.

On the other side, the Lions play a ton of man coverage, and Dak Prescott tends to lock onto CeeDee Lamb when facing man defenses. Lamb had a standout game against the Lions last season, and I expect him to do the same here. With Gibbs' dynamic rushing and Lamb’s ability to exploit man coverage, these two are key pieces in a high-scoring game.

Falcons @ Panthers

RB Bijan Robinson WR Diontae Johnson

This is the breakout week for Bijan Robinson. The Panthers' run defense has been terrible all season, and they’re dealing with injuries, making Robinson my favorite play on the entire slate. He’s in a prime spot to take advantage of a weak defense and deliver a huge performance.

On the other side, Johnson is another strong option with over a 30% target share when Andy Dalton is under center this year. He’s in a favorable spot because the Falcons don’t move A.J. Terrell around, and their other cornerbacks are exploitable. While Johnson isn’t a must-play, he’s set up for a solid game with good volume and should be strongly considered if you’re looking for a reliable receiver in this matchup.

Top Plays

These are top plays that I have not mentioned yet.

TE Brock Bowers

Bowers is the best TE in the NFL right now and the Steelers have had some lapses in coverage. While I don’t love O’Connell being QB, Bowers is still one of the top options at the position.

TE Hunter Henry

A rookie QBs best friend is a TE and Henry is a very cheap price this weekend.

Full Player Pool

I am changing this section up a bit and uploading the full pool below. You can search by team, player, opponent and if they aren't appearing they are not in my pool. Next week we will finally have the advanced data we need to make some more advanced plays on the slate.
