All original and proven IDP fantasy football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average, of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.
The IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts Relevance
Users of these charts should always keep certain things in mind when using these charts.
- The fifth element of the five step formula used is the mind behind it’s innovation. So there is a human aspect to reading these results and the delivery.
- All input into these charts are raw at the beginning of the seasons until the core information catches up with that seasons data, stat, and trends. The first three weeks on average are basically a warm up period. As some end of the year information from the prior season is included. This is until on average around week four of each season we have established the current season’s own material. This in turn is the strength of the charts. And just in time for the important bye-weeks.
- Never sit a stud! As a disclaimer and delivery we need to always keep in mind that sitting a known” stud” over a player that is not isn’t advisable. The charts are meant to split the IDP hairs among the level of players talent. And it is never advisable to “reach” for a player in play if those “IDP hairs” are minimal.
- These Charts are based on match ups versus talent of said players when it is boiled down to it. And trusting the charts do take a commitment. That is not included in our delevery and soley on the users.
IDP Outside Linebackers are listed here?
The outside linebackers in the 3-4 defensive scheme are listed here as edge rushers. The are basically stand-up defensive ends in the 4-3 scheme, comparably. The outside linebackers in the 4-3 are listed in the inside linebacker charts. Splitting those IDP Fantasy Football hairs!

Easy Start/Sit Charts
Week Ten
East Notes:
Cowboys: Versus the Vikings. We didn’t include Bennett last week as he had just recently been signed. But as you can see by the snap counts above that he went right into the main rotation. Collins and him are possibly on your waiver wires for a green bye week play this week.
The Vikings do allow nice/strong points to the interior lineman via the formula on paper. But not so much to the edge rushers. So Quinn and Lawrence are “just” solid, and that is barely. It is possible that we see Lawrence come up to his standard with the addition of Bennett to this line.
Giants: Versus the Jets. As marked. Overall the Giamts should enjoy a good to great game among the DLs/Edges via the match-up.
Leonard Williams was recently traded for as we mentioned last week and he went directly into the starting line-up (Just like Bennett above). We have also included last contest snap counts for the interior DLs to show why everyone is marked as they are versus the 5 step formula results. Likely might help in deciding on what green bye week player you’ll want to us.
Eagles: Bye Week.
Redskins: Bye Week.
West Notes:
Cardinals: Played Thursday Night.
Rams: Bye Week.
Seahawks: Versus the Buccaneers. As marked. And there are indications that Green and Ansah could be on standard sized waiver wires. They can only be looked at as “just” solid bye week plays as they both ran around the 50% snap counts in a rotation. The remaining weak players just aren’t getting it done nor have much of a snap count.
Reed did not do much with his 82% snap count last week, his first week back. But he is likely getting his “game legs” back after being out on SSPD. The snap counts alone via what the Bucs allow in points to the DTs has him firmly in strong. But of course with risk.
49ers: Played Thursday Night.
North Notes: A matter of who you “trust”.
Bears Versus The Lions: A catch-22 match-up. This divisional match-up between these two played out the same for each team. The injuries and inconsistent rotations has each teams interior lineman doing the same in who produces each week. There are potential bye-week players marked. And with six teams in the NFL on bye we have to note those. But if you don’t have to go here we suggest looking elsewhere if possible.
The Bears Floyd all of a sudden had a strong contest versus the Eagles. He is in there, but holds real risk as an edge play.
The boil down…
It would be likely the case scenario if we use either of these units we pick from Mack, Kennard, and possible Flowers. Those three basically are the only full time players here in snap counts. The rest are in deep rotations.
Packers: Versus the Panthers. As marked over all. The strong should be busy according to the on-paper formula. And we need to note that the Panthers allow 75% of the points to the DLs on the edge, so Clark is just “barely” solid this contest on paper.
Vikings: Versus the Cowboys. This unit as a whole out-performed last contest versus the Chiefs minus Mahomes. It’ll be real hard to expect that this week versus the Cowboys. They are dead last in rankings allowing points to the edge and bottom six in allowing points to the interior lineman.
Hunter is a stud, and that is the only reason we have him in there at solid.
South Notes: EH…
Falcons: Versus the Saints. As marked. Saints don’t allow much at all to the DLs. Noting that Jarrett has become match-up proof. And because of that he is “just” solid.
Panthers: Versus the Packers. This unit was a bit of a let down versus the Titans last week. So temper our expectations this week. And noting with Addison out in that contest, Burns and Irving combo did not get it done versus a team that normally “gifts” IDP production to the edge rushers.
Saints: Versus The Falcons. As marked. Everything coming out of bye week is solid with upside.
Buccaneers: Versus the Cardinals. Of course Nassib got hurt off the top last week after coming up. Barrett hasn’t got it done lately. And on paper the Cardinals are not the team to give these guys any “upside”, other than JPP.
