Attention, Please! As mentioned in the examples real in-depth Advice/Notes are an option when they are needed. And considering that the Edge Rushers opposition in the NFL, for the most part, is stable, users will start noticing that those notes and such will start diminishing as we go.

Week 1 / NFC Inside Linebackers
Reminder, this is the last week the IDP Tactical Tools like the Start/Sit Charts will be free to non-members. we hope you decide to join us as the up to date data is just now about to peek as those so important fantasy football bye-weeks are about to start.
Bears Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: We have to put a warning out here for Trevathan owners. He went from 90% of the snaps to 48% of the snaps from weeks one to two. And reportedly the words “manage” and “lost a step” have come into play. The guy has been through the wringer with injuries of the years and maybe they are catching up with him so they are going to “manage” his time on the field. This adds chances of inconsistency to the mix and we need to keep this in mind. And after it was out of the blue in week two and his two tackle result, we’re marking him as such for week three to see what is going to happen. There isn’t a stand out ILB that got his other reps, so it’s likely the case from what we read in snap counts that they just went with more DBs on the field in week two. Right now, it’s all a red flag.
Lions Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: Collins is technically playing an ILB/Edge Rusher position, but at least the sites we’ve checked into, no one has him listed as both. Which we did here in the Charts the first time around. And then switched it expecting to play the same role he played with his Lions head coach in New England for years. For now, we’ll list him on both and hope that the major sites catch on. As for the rest of the ILBs, Tavai is getting the Lions to share at ILB with an average of nearly 80% of the snaps thru weeks one and two. And Davis and Jones are at about 50%. So what’s this mean? It means we can’t trust much yet considering the flux in production versus who is getting to play the most. Hopefully, it levels out, but knowing head coach Patricia, it won’t. And we suggest owners go as marked versus the Cardinals this week to be safe.
Packers Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: On paper, go as marked. Kirksey is the only every-down linebacker at this point by a large full-time margin. With that being said the Saints aren’t a real solid “on paper” match up, but Kirksey’s situation has proven that he has upside every matchup to solid and like Blake Martinez in the past, matchup proof.
Vikings Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: Simple enough, on paper, Kendricks is really strong versus the Titans. They just signed Todd Davis and considering what we know about Barrs’ role and how they used Wilson at the WLB spot, we suggest owners don’t plan on anyone but Kendricks working out as a viable IDP player for the season at ILB. So that if it happens, we’re just pleasantly surprised. Who knows, maybe the Vikings go to more of a traditional 4-3 now in terms of how they use the ILBs. Which then could make sense in thinking another ILB would emerge.
Falcons Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: On paper, The Bears aren’t all that in allowing production to the ILBs. But Jones will get his as normal, just don’t expect a bunch of base tackle upside. As for Oluokun, as of Wedsndays report, he wasn’t practicing with a hammy issue. If he can’t go, which doesn’t “sound” like the case, the rookie Walker will likely step in. It’s up to owners to decide to risk if the two and a half stars translate to him because it took upside to get Oluokun there after one heck of a performance last week versus the Cowboys. With just 22% of the snaps before going down with that hammy, Oluokun had six tackles and three forced fumbles. There is that upside that just got Oluokun into “just” solid according to the formula on paper.
Panthers Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: The matchup versus the Chargers on paper is strong, but the assumption that it looks like the three main guys here are starting to cancel each other out is concerning. There is only going to be so much IDP meat on the bone each week, and three ILBs getting a lot of snaps on top of Chinn’s role as a hybrid may cancel someone out each week real soon. The thing is, knowing ho that will be. It’ll likely become more of an issue when the matchup is just solid. For this round versus the Chargers, we’ve given it the benefit of the doubt and splitting the difference.
Saints Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: it’s boiled down to roles and trust. So we’ll go with Davis has a heck of a matchup on paper this week versus the Packers.
Buccaneers Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: Finally, something normal and nothing to say but roll these two out like champs versus the Broncos.
Cowboys Inside Linebackers
Advice/Notes: Roll with the “up-sided” marks versus the Seahawks. Just know it’s likely not going to be a repeat of last contest across the board.
Giants Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: It’s leveled out at this point, Martinez is our only solid with upside play versus the 49ers.
Eagles Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: After a second week to gage things, we’ll say we can roll with what’s on paper versus the Bengals. And we’re watching Edwards this week heading into week four. he went from 29% to 42% in snap counts while Riley went from 81% to 71%. Just something to watch as Riley has never proven before he can be a great ILB long term in his career, at least not yet. Edwards could keep eating into his time.
Washington’s Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: Pierre-Louis held on to his full-time role as we spoke about last week. And Thomas Davis didn’t cut in at all now that he was healthy. So we’ll go as marked, warning owners that we really need to see it again this week to make sure he is a safe play.
Cardinals Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: It’s one thing to see Campbell out produce Hicks, it’s another to see Campell out snap him by a small margin in week two. In conversations on pods and Twitter, I mentioned how it would be interesting to see how Hicks does with a viable ILB next to him. In 2019 he was the only full-time ILB, and he racked those points up. I guess we have an early guess at what it means long term after Campell’s cut deep in out producing him. Don’t get us wrong, Hicks is still viable, just not that top 3 option on the year anymore.
Rams Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: Another team looking like it’s leveling out early on with who gets what. Go as marked because on paper, it’s not as solid as one would think versus Buffalo on paper. But expect Kiser to overachieve, and when he does, that upside will start automatically be figured in with the formula. One little interesting note, Young got a bump in playing time, that’s all for now.
49ers Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: Warner outperformed last weeks on paper results, Alexander did not. So we’ll give Warner his upside and not Alexander in this contest versus the Giants. All owners need to keep in mind is without Barkley this week, things could fluxawait with the Giants until they get Freeman up to speed or whoever ends up taking his place.
Seahawks Inside Linebackers
Advice/Note: injuries across the board for the Seahawks gives him upside back into relevancy this contest versus the Cowboys. Just keep in mind, what role, how he is used in that role or boost still remains to be seen. And then there is the fact that they basically cut Wright out before now, so there’s that way to think about it now as well. Can we say risky?
