And yes, there are a few imitators, but there is only one true original five-step formula IDP tactical tool. And all of that history and relevancy is only available here for G.R. fantasy football family members.

Needing to split those IDP hairs between two or more players with the same color code? Week 2 / CIN. Vs. CLE

All the charts are only available for free for the first three weeks of the season. We hope you consider joining the G.R. family.

Bengals Inside Linebackers

Germaine Pratt
3/5
Josh Bynes
3/5
Logan Wilson
1/5
A. Davis-Gaither
1/5

Advice/Note: If it wasn’t for the fact that Pratt and Bynes only see a tough over 70% of the snap counts they’d like went 4 stars this matchup. The Browns were generous week one in allowing production to the ILBs. For those of you wondering, Logan and Davis-Gaither saw just about 30%. One has to assume it’ll be the same in week two.

Bengals Safeties

Jessie Bates
3.5/5
Von Bell
3.5/5
Shawn Williams (?)
1.5/5
Brandon Wilson
1/5

Advice/Note: We should be able to deploy Bell and bates assuming they both have above average days versus the Chargers according to the five-step formula, short and sweet.

Bengals Interior Defevensive Lineman

Geno Atkins (O)
0/5
D.J. Reader
2/5
Mike Daniels (O)
0/5
Christian Covington
2/5

Advice/Note: The Browns have a good offensive line, and on paper that shows up stronger in the formula than the results for Reader or Covington. Sure, someone is likely to overachieve the high-weak 2 stars, but we’re thinking that it’s just not worth it this early in the season.

Bengals Edge Rushers

Sam Hubbard
3.5/5
Carlos Dunlap
2.5/5
Carl Lawson
2.5/5
Khalid Kareem
1/5

Advice/Note: Surely Carlos Dunlap hasn’t lost a step, right? Lawson outshined him and Hubbard did his normal when the matchup is right. The snaps were Hubbard nearly 80%, Dunlap 70%, and Lawson getting the most out of his time with just under 60%. Deploy them as you feel about it in this high solid matchup on paper.

VS.

 Browns Inside Linebackers

Sione Takitaki
3.5/5
B.J. Goodson
3/5
Jacob Phillips (O)
0/5
Mack Wilson (O)
0/5

Advice/Note: Tak and Goodson should both be good to go, on paper they might just outproduce last week’s production. Both saw 80% plus defensive snaps, where we like to see it. Will it hold for the season really depends on just how they do when one or both of the others can get healthy.

 Browns Safeties

Karl Joseph
2/5
Andrew Sendejo
2/5
Ronnie Harrison Jr.
1/5
Sheldrick Redwine
0.5/5

Advice/Note: We have a couple of reasons to try and avoid the safeties this week versus the Bengals on paper. One, their production last week wasn’t all that in a matchup that shoulda been decent. Two, Ronnie Harrison has now had time to start working in with the first it if they are going to do it after joining them a couple of weeks ago. The third is the above and results on paper, week one the Bengals were dead last in allowing production to the safeties. It is way early, but these things matter and we suggest avoiding it all.

 Browns Interior Defensive Lineman

Sheldon Richardson
2.5/5
Larry Ogunjobi
3.5/5
Vincen Taylor
1/5
Jordan Elliott
0.5/5

Advice/Note: As designated verses that run game and so-so Bengals offensive line. Richardson laid an egg last week so need to match this matchup on paper or he’ll fall even more in the formula in the future.

 Browns edge Rushers

Myles Garrett
4/5
Oliver Vernon (Q)
2.5/5
Adrian Clayborn
2.5/5
Gustin Porter
0.5/5

Advice/Note: It boils down to trust just as much as this favorable “on paper” matchup. Enough said, this early in the season no need to reach for a play even if Vernon and/or Clayborn will likely get something done.
