The WK1 Fantasy Football Rankings Defensive Lineman IDP Start/Sits cheat sheet charts contain all the interior defensive lineman in both NFL defensive schemes.

If you are looking for names like Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, or Danielle Hunter…

Those are defensive ends in the NFL’s 4-3 defensive scheme and are now located with the 3-4 schemed Outside Linebackers in the new Edge Rusher charts. So if you do not see your players name, and unsure as to why. They likely can be found there, where we apply an even deeper formula to get these weekly start/sits right for IDP sack-heavy formats.

Week 2 / AFC Interior D-Lineman

All the charts are only available for free for the first three weeks of the season. We hope you consider joining the G.R. family.

The User of any chart must read the notes or they are setting themselves up to make a mistake and do their own due diligence on injuries and such.

Attention, Please! As mentioned in the examples real in-depth Advice/Notes are an option when they are needed. And considering that the Edge Rushers opposition in the NFL, for the most part, is stable, users will start noticing that those notes and such will start diminishing as we go.

AFC NORTH

 Ravens Interior D-Lineman

Calais Campbell
3/5
Derek Wolfe
2.5/5
Brandon Williams
2/5
Justin Madubuike (O)
0/5

Advice/Note: We’re going status quo here this week after the Ravens interior D-lineman had a tough matchup in week one versus the Browns. In week two it’ll be smoother for these fellas as the on-paper versus the Texans is a lot more favorable.

Bengals Interior D-Lineman

Geno Atkins (O)
0/5
D.J. Reader
0/5
Mike Daniels
0/5
Christian Covington
0/5

Advice/Note: Played Thursday and/or the matchup is located on the Thursday Edition of the charts.

 Browns Interior D-Lineman

Sheldon Richardson
0/5
Larry Ogunjobi
0/5
Jordan Elliott
0/5
Vincent Taylor
0/5

Advice/Note: Played Thursday and/or the matchup is located on the Thursday Edition of the charts.

Steelers Interior D-Lineman

Cameron Heyward
2.5/5
Stephon Tuitt
2.5/5
Tyson Alualu
1.5/5
Chris Wormley
1/5

Advice/Note: This matchup on paper looks pretty tough for this squad versus a decent Bronco offensive line in week two.

AFC south

Texans Interior D-Lineman

J.J. Watt
3/5
Brandon Dunn
2/5
P.J. Hall
2/5
Charles Omenihu
1/5

Advice/Note: The matchup on paper is going to bring Watt back in line with what his owners are used to versus the Ravens. Granted he’ll need to work it tough for a sack, but if anyone can get it done versus the Raven’s Jackson, it’s Watt.

Colts Interior D-Lineman

DeForest Buckner
2.5/5
Denico Autry
2/5
Grover Stewart
2/5
Sheldon Day (IR)
0/5

Advice/Note: Eyes on Autry and Stewart, Autry has been seeing time at the end position and Stewart impressed week one with just 60% of the snaps. If these guys can take advantage of a slightly weaker match up, on paper, versus the Vikings, we’ll know that adding Buckner this offseason was the right move across the board.

 Jaquars Interior D-Lineman

Taven Bryan
2/5
Abry Jones
2/5
Timmy Jernigan
1/5
Davon Hamilton
1/5

Advice/Note: Granted this ragtag interior wasn’t successful as predicted by the formula last week, but there is a little extra available on paper by the Titans this week. Should we go here? Likely not, we need to see it to believe it a few times in order to trust they can.

Titans Interior D-Lineamn

Jeffery Simmons
3.5/5
DaQuan Jones
2.5/5
Jack Crawford
1/5
Matt Dickson
0.5/5

Advice/Note: On paper, Simmons will make his real debut on the season this contest versus the Jags. If he is on your waiver wire right now, you just might want to stash him before there is a line to the next waiver wire period. There I said it, now it’s up to owners to watch it happen or act on this early.

AFC East

 Bills Interior D-Lineman

Ed Oliver
2.5/5
Star Lotulelei (O)
0/5
Vernon Butler (Q)
2.5/5
Quinton Jefferson
2.5/5

Advice/Note: On paper, via the formula, all we can really say at this point is that we’re not sure if Ed Oliver is ever going to be that guy the Bills drafted him to be. With that being said, the Bills got a middle of the pack and a just solid matchup versus the Dolphins this week. If he can’t take advantage then we’ll figure he won’t be more than just another matchup dependent guy who “might” be able to get it done.

Dolphins Interior D-Lineman

Davon Godchaux
2/5
Christian Wilkins
2/5
Raekwon Davis
1/5
Robert Nkemdiche
0.5/5

Advice/Note: Last season Godchaux and Wilkins seemed to trade off the contest they’d produce at a high level. This contest versus the Bills isn’t one we’ll likely see a break that trend. This scenario of finding a solid every week player from the interior line might not play out in 2020 either. It’s a wait and sees at this point for the next couple of contests.

 Patriots Interior D-Lineman

Lawrence Guy
2/5
Adam Butler (?)
2/5
Deatrich Wise Jr.
2/5
Derek Rivers
2/5
Byron Coverts
2/5
Xavier Willams
0.5/5

Advice/Note: Here is our problem with this matchup for this interior Squad, even if this is an on-paper really strong contest versus the Seahawks. Who do you pick to play when all these players played in the contest week one. Butler was the one to see the most snaps with 55%, which is a low number for any other team’s interior lineman, and now is questionable. Then on the low end, we have Williams with 15% of the snaps available. And to top it all off, all the rest of those listed players were in the 30% range. It’s classic Bill Belichick type stuff here, limiting fantasy football owners in front-seven options off his team.

Jets Interior D-Lineman

Quinnen Williams
0.5/5
Henry Anderson
0.5/5
Steve McLendon
0.5/5
Folorunso Fatukasi
0.5/5

Advice/Note: Nothing to see here but a wasteland of “avoids” and with the 49ers allowing the least amount of production to any interior squad, that goes double this week via the formula.

I guess we should mention Fatukasi, who lead these players with 3 combined tackles. The problem for IDP owners, it was with just 36% of the snap counts which can’t be relied on, and just speaks of the situation as a whole.

AFC west

 Broncos Interior D-Lineman

Jurrell Casey
2.5/5
Shelby Harris
2/5
Mike Purcell
2/5
Dre'Mont Jones
1.5/5

Advice/Note: The only real thing to note here is that Harris only got 56% of the snap counts. Which considering his role with the team last year should have been more around veteran Casey’s at 70%. We’ll keep an eye on this going forward because if it doesn’t increase were looking at a low DL2 with only bye week (maybe) value through the season. Whereas last season he was more of a weekly matchup dependent play that offered DL1 numbers at times. As for this contest go as marked versus the Steeler via the formula, and add no upside to be safe about it.

Chiefs Interior D-Lineman

Chris Jones
2.5/5
Derrick Nnadi
2/5
Tershawn Wharton
2/5
Khalen Saunders (IR)
0/5
Mike Pennel (O)
0/5

Advice/Note: With injuries hurting this interior versus the snap counts and the fact they will need to mix and match some defensive ends inside to get their rotation right, just focus on Jones week two versus the Chargers. Who in the last four contests, since 2018, has managed to make an impact in three of those contests. The on-paper results already have his upside added, so don’t add any, but who knows what he could pull off.

Chargers Interior D-Lineman

Linval Joseph
2/5
Justin Jones
1.5/5
Jerry Tillery
2/5
Damion Square
0.5/5

Advice/Note: Unfortunately this isn’t the week to see if Tillery can overachieve for us after doing so in week one, and only with 40% of the snaps. The on-paper versus KC is tough for Edge Rusher Joey Bosa so that certainly means it’ll be tough on the interiors as well.

Raiders Interior D-Lineman

Johnathan Hankins
2/5
Maurice Hurst
2/5
Maliek Collins
2/5
Daniel Ross
0.5/5

Advice/Note: On paper, last week proved it versus the Panthers, it’s the same old interior getting the same old results. And after the Saints OLs shut down the Bucs lineman in week one, for the most part, the on-paper result speaks for itself.
