All original and proven IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average,  of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.

And bye-weeks can throw a curve ball into any given fantasy football match-up. So as the relevancy of the charts has gain their momentum a recap of the bye-week plays is in order. Please note this is an article of convenience. Which means that we will try to record and publish these on Monday or Tuesday, time permitting. The Suggested AFC Fantasy Football IDP Bye-Week Plays Results

Take Results will be based on an overall player result and individual performance average. And also on a wide open fantasy football IDP scoring format and designated positions. So these results may vary in relevance to your IDP scoring format in your leagues and position values.

Here at the IDP Tipster site we count all general relevant statics that include: Tackles, Assists, tackle for loss, forced fumble, fumble recovery, interception, sacks, pass defended, and of course touchdowns. A safety is not considered more than a recorded tackle for loss and likely sack. But may be acknowledged in the overall results of the “take”.

The “take” on the “deep” bye-week play result will also be graded as the Easy Start/Sit charts type of ranges. Those are Strong, Solid, and Weak. Note that the final results of those “takes” grades depend on their own merits and not the original ranges on the charts. Allowing for and under to over chance performance of the charts. As we all know, it is any given contest and that should be kept in mind here as well. So if a warning that may have been added to the “take” plays out or an unforeseen injury/situation may have happened, the result may be tagged inconclusive. The charts are not an exact science, just a tested and proven formulated way to get a IDP winning edge.

There is no sure thing in fantasy football. Just as the Vegas odds makers or the professional “gurus”. We are truly dealing with an any given Sunday scenario every single week.

Fantasy Football IDP

IDP Player: Bills DE Jerry Hughes

Take – (With Warning) – Bills: Versus the Titans. Huge warning here. Via the formula on paper this is a very strong match-up. The Titans are allowing some of the best points allowed to the DLs across the board on average. The only problem is the lack of the Bills DLs getting the job done so far. That is why they are only and barely solid. And part of the reason we can mark Hughes as a deep bye week guy. His potential and hype hasn’t kept him on owners rosters. So as a bye week play and the only one with “upside”, we’ll mark him as such.

Take Player Results: Hughes had his best tackle based performances of the season. Recording three tackles, two assists, and one tackle for a loss.

Take Result Was: Solid

IDP Player: Patriots DE John Simon

Take – Patriots: Versus the Redskins. As marked and noting we finally got another potential DL play. Collins has a role on the field that warrants a DL designation as an Edge rusher. That is why he is here. But Simon has finally started separating himself from the remaining group. Not only in snap counts but production. In this case this week you could do worse.

Take Player Results: Simon had his best contest of the season. Recording five tackles, one assist, one tackle for a loss, one sack, and one pass defended.

Take Result Was: Strong

IDP

IDP Player: Jets DT/DE Leonard Williams

Take – (With Warning) –  Jets: Versus the Eagles. First we will note that it looks like the hyped up rookie Q. Williams will get back on the field this week. But we can’t trust just how much or how effective he’ll be. And as for L. Williams this is the first match-up all season worth moving him up into a solid spot. And according to the formula on paper he should be solid enough for a green bye week play. The warning is the fact he has not been able to out perform anything this year on paper. So “should” is still risky.

Take Player Results: Williams had one total tackle.

Take Result Was: Weak – Will not “reason” that risky was worth the warning in this case.

IDP

IDP Player: Texans DE/DT D.J. Reader

Take – Texans: Versus The Falcons. As marked. Noting this unit has joined Mercilus and got on a little bit of a role. And the Falcons are mid-range solid in allowing points to the Reader position. And considering he isn’t  on many rosters he gets the deep bye week green this match-up.

Take Player Results: Reader had one of his best performances of the season to date. He had three tackles, one assist, one tackle for a loss, and a sack.

Take Result Was: Strong

IDP Player: Patriots SS/FS Duron Harmon

Take – (With Warning) – Patriots: Versus the Redskins. Actually a strong match-up on paper. If the Patriots don’t put the game away early and start sitting players. With Chung already called “out” reportedly Harmon “should” get a bigger role. There is risk here as a deep bye week play. One, it is the Patriots who we know all bets are off on any given contest how they do things. And the second is Harmon himself. A long time Patriot that has never managed to make a IDP impact enough to trust. With only two teams on bye weeks there might be better plays to trust.

Take Player Results: The warning had a lot of merit. Harmon did not live up to the potential indicated via the formula used for the charts. He recorded one tackle and one assist.

Take Result Was: Weak – Will not argue that it wasn’t. Lesson learned to even consider him as a player, despite the “might be” added to the “take”. Lesson learned.

IDP

IDP Player: Denver FS/SS Will Parks

Take – Broncos: Versus the Chargers.  As marked. But mentioning that if Jackson is out Parks would be solid enough as a deep bye week play to get just solid IDP production. And last report was Jackson was trending to play.

Take Player Results: Inclusive, Jackson did indeed play.

Take Result Was: Inclusive, noting that via the formula for the position designated that Jackson had a great contest result. Arguably his best results of eight tackles, two assists, and one forced fumble.

IDP

IDP Player: Chargers SS Roderic Teamer

Take – Chargers: Versus the Broncos. On paper solid. The rookie Adderley can’t stay healthy and is doubtful. Teamer is reportedly going to hold onto his starting SS role. And on paper as well as what ESPN has done for %ROST, both of these guys are on the waiver wires. This is a solid getting over the hump deep bye week play with either. Got to add, either with upside in the divisional match-up.

Take Player Results: His best game to date with five tackles and four assists.

Take Result Was: Strong

IDP

IDP Player: Chargers FS Rayshawn Jenkins

Take – Chargers: Versus the Broncos. On paper solid. The rookie Adderley can’t stay healthy and is doubtful. Teamer is reportedly going to hold onto his starting SS role. And on paper as well as what ESPN has done for %ROST, both of these guys are on the waiver wires. This is a solid getting over the hump deep bye week play with either. Got to add, either with upside in the divisional match-up.

Take Player Results: His second best tackle best effort on the season as a free safety. He recorded four tackles and one assist.

Take Result Was: Solid

IDP Player: Colts FS/SS Khari Willis

Take – Colts: Versus the Chiefs. On paper via the formula this match-up is hot. And reportedly Odum replaces Geathers at strong safety. And Willis will replace Hooker who missed the last contest at free safety. So on paper this is strong enough to suggest at the worse these guys should end up at least solid. But it has to be said that this might be the strongest “on-paper” deep bye week plays out here this weekend.

Take Player Results: Just three tackles wasn’t “solid” enough. With no other statistics we needed more.

Take Result Was: Weak

IDP

IDP Player: Colts SS/FS George Odum

Take – Colts: Versus the Chiefs. On paper via the formula this match-up is hot. And reportedly Odum replaces Geathers at strong safety. And Willis will replace Hooker who missed the last contest at free safety. So on paper this is strong enough to suggest at the worse these guys should end up at least solid. But it has to be said that this might be the strongest “on-paper” deep bye week plays out here this weekend.

Take Player Results: On fire with six tackles, one assist, and a forced fumble.

Take Result Was: Strong

IDP

IDP Player: Chief LB Damien Wilson

Take – Chiefs: Versus the Colts. A secure and solid match-up on paper. And Wilson being barely on any rosters in ESPN standard leagues means he is worth a real look as a bye week play. He has managed to get the tackles as a full time player.

Take Player Results: His best over all tackle base effort on the season with seven tackles and five assists.

Take Result Was: Strong

IDP

IDP Player: Raiders LB Nicholas Morrow

Take – Raiders: Versus the Bears. Whitehead does have some “upside” appeal to strong this contest on paper. And Morrow is the guy who reportedly will get the big boost in playing time. The fact he is also barely owned in ESPN standard leagues has him firmly green as a bye week play. Noting this has even more “upside” as a ROS play if he can get the job done and hold onto the starting gig as a full time player.

Take Player Results: With four tackles, one interception, and one pass defended it was as good as call as any deep bye week call.

Take Result Was: Solid

IDP

IDP Player: Browns LB Mack Wilson

Take – Remarkable Wilson is barely owned in ESPN standard sized leagues. So he goes green with his “upside” inserting him as a solid play. He is 100% snap count guy and finding ways to get production.

Take Player Results: Mack had his best productive game to date as a starter. Recording five tackles, one assist, one tackle for a loss, and a pass defended.

Take Result Was: Strong
