A formula with a well-tested history for over a decade and a proven high-hit rate in IDP play well before sharing it with the public four years ago. And all of that history and relevancy is only available here for G.R. fantasy football family members.

Fantasy Football's WK14 Thursday Game Edition ALL IDP Start/Sit Chart

 Patriots Interior D-Lineman

Lawrence Guy (?)
3.5/5
Deatrich Wise Jr.
3.5/5
Adam Butler (?)
3/5
Byran Cowart (?)
2/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Rams.  And adding, these vets spend a lot of time questionable as they get veteran days off. Just keep an eye on the situation before the contest because last contest (vs. the Chargers), the main guys all produced. And this contest on paper is just slightly beneath that one in the formula results.

See special note in the Eddge Rushers about production. Because it is why there aren’t any 4 stars among them.

 Patriots Safeties

Adrian Phillips
4/5
Devin McCourty
3.5/5
Kyle Dugger (?)
3/5
Terrence Brooks
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Rams. And adding that Dugger has been dealing with the toe issue and not missed any time. And he actually played over 90% of the snaps last contest. But we can’t plan on that in the playoffs as he has been all over the map in playing time since joining the first-team defense.

For Dugger, there will be a lot of variables that will need to play out, but we won’t be shocked if he outperforms his marks.

 Patriots Inside Linebackers

Ja’Whaun Bentley (?)
2.5/5
Terez Hall
2/5
Josh Uche
2/5
Cassh Maluia
1/5
Anfernee Jennings
1/5

See New Chart Key Above  -Advice/Note: On paper, this matchup is actually pretty solid for Bentley. But we have an issue with his groin injury and last week’s snap counts. The issue might be lingering around and caused his 41% of the snaps as Hall finished it up with the rest at 47%. Bentley was a great bye week play for us and also got it done when the matchups were right this season. But at this point, and factoring in snaps and such, we suggest avoiding this situation.

And we do realize that maybe they just pulled him in the last contest to be safe as the Patriots manhandled the Chargers. But is it really worth the risk? And go look at what we added about Dugger in the safety notes. From what we’ve he is playing a hybrid linebacker/safety type roll. Something else to think about if it was at Bentley’s expense.

 Patriots Edge Rushers

John Simon
3.5/5
Chase Winovich
3.5/5
Shilique Calhoun
1.5/5
Anfernee Jennings
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Rams. Just make sure we all understand what we noted in the IDLs, cause it applies here too.

Note, on paper, thee Rams are now in the top 12 in the league in allowing production to both the edge and interior defenders. So, there will be plenty there, but it has to be figured up among at least four main players. And we may have five or six in play.

VS.

Rams Interior D-Lineman

Aaron Donald
4/5
Michael Brockers (?)
2.5/5
Sebastian Joseph-Day
2.5/5
A’Shawn Robinson
1.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Patriots. And if Brockers can’t go, give Joseph-Day another 1/2 star.

Rams Safeties

John Johnson III
4/5
Jordan Fuller
3/5
Taylor Rapp (IR)
0/5
Terrell Burgess (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Patriots. And adding, Fuller has not quit played as he did before his trip to the I.R.  So we haven’t been adding any upside to his marks and he has been a mixed package. We do feel and have indications he could overachieve here, but we certainly can not plan on it.

Rams Inside Linebackers

Troy Reeder
4/5
Kenny Young
2.5/5
Travon Howard (IR)
0/5
Micah Kiser (IR)
0/5

Advice/Note: As marked versus the Patriots.

Rams Edge Rushers

Leonard Floyd
2.5/5
Justin Hollins
2/5
Samson Ebukam
1.5/5
Terrell Lewis
1.5/5

SEE NEW CHART KEY ABOVE -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Patriots as New England has now bottomed out in allowing production off the Edge. But as we showed in the IDL charts, they still offer a nice chunk on the interior. Floyd gets his mark at “barely” just solid based on his volume of snaps he receives each contest. And with this being a Thursday contest and likely in our playoffs, we suggest finding another Edge Rusher play on Sunday.

Hollins may be trending, but it’s really late in the season to care. Unless we are watching for next season and for dynasty leagues.
