Welcome to the Fantasy Football’s AFC Linebacker Championship WK16 Start/Sit Chart, presented by GridironRatings.com Where the only original and proven IDP start/sit chart “cheat sheets” via The IDP Tipster can be found. And yes, there are a few imitators, but there is only one true original five-step formula IDP tactical tool. A formula with a well-tested history for over a decade and a proven high-hit rate in IDP play well before sharing it with the public four years ago. And all of that history and relevancy is only available here for G.R. fantasy football family members.

Attention Please!

It’s week 15 or 16 and we aren’t messing around with a bunch of huge details. The playoffs are here and we are getting right to the point with the marks. We’ll refect any concerns or anything else via the marks too. The five-step formula has got us here, so short and sweet, trust the charts while we ignore the drama.

If you have a serious question about splitting the hairs between a couple of players or need future assistance, please contact me via Twitter HERE. Or hit our site chat and whoever answers directly the question to me and they will find me via text to help you. Thank you again for joining us this year and we look forward to assisting you again in 2021.

Reminder, there will not be any week 17 charts as 99% of leagues have their championships in week 16. And week 17 means half the teams will sit the starters or they’ll see limited action unless they are the small number of teams needing to win out. Again, if you need direct assistance for week 17, please contact me as I mentioned above.

AFC NORTH

 Ravens Inside Linebackers

Patrick Queen
4/5
L.J. Fort
2/5
Malik Harrison
1/5
Chris Board
0.5/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Giants. And the only reason Queen wasn’t a touch higher is the fact that over the last three contests he has only averaged around 75% of the snaps available.

Bengals Inside Linebackers

Josh Bynes
2.5/5
Germaine Pratt
2.5/5
Logan Wilson (?)
2.5/5
Akeen Davis-Gaithers
1/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Texans. And we suggest avoiding this situation unless you are desperate. It’s just too fluid from week to week to trust it in a championship.

 Browns Inside Linebackers

B.J. Goodson
3/5
Mack Wilson
1/5
Malcolm Smith
1/5
Sione Takitaki
1/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Jets and just stick with what we’ve trusted for most of the season, and that’s Goodson.

Steelers Inside Linebackers

Avery Williamson
3.5/5
Vince Williams (?/c)
0/5
Devin Bush (IR)
0/5
Robert Spillane (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above  -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Bengals. Only trust Williamson.

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Colts. And as it stands, Williamson is the only guy to trust.

AFC south

Texans Inside Linebackers

Zach Cunningham
3.5/5
Tyrell Adams
3.5/5
Nate Hall
1/5
Benardrick McKinney (IR)
0/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Bengals.

Colts Inside Linebackers

Darius Leonard
3.5/5
Bobby Okereke
3/5
Anthony Walker
2.5/5
E.J. Speed
0.5/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Steelers.

 Jaquars Inside Linebackers

Myles Jack
3.5/5
Joe Schobert
3.5/5
Dakota Allen (?)
1/5
Quincy Williams
0.5/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Bears and just know that the fellas got where they are based on their consistency upside.

Titans Inside Linebackers

Rashaan Evans
2.5/5
David Long
2.5/5
Will Compton
1/5
Jayon Brown (IR)
0/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Packers. And a reminder, the Packers are still bottom of the barrel in allowing production to the ILBs.

AFC East

 Bills Inside Linebackers

Tremaine Edmunds
3.5/5
A.J. Klein
2/5
Matt Milano
2/5
Tyrel Dodson (IR)
0/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Patriots. And why are Milano and Klein still so under marked? Well, Milano has remained far away from being a full-time guy, despite the box score last week. And Klein dropped to 60% last contest. We are talking rust issues with either player in our lineups.

Dolphins Inside Linebackers

Jerome Baker (?)
2.5/5
Elandon Roberts
2.5/5
Kamu Grugier-Hill
1/5
Calvin Munson
1/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Raiders. And keep in mind as we look at these player’s box scores from last week. Fact, last contest was the first time in weeks either played together with 80% or more of the snaps apiece. It’s actually been one ugly rotation and one that sent Baker to a marginal part-time role for a couple of weeks. And then there is the fact that the Raiders have remained in the bottom third in allowing production to the ILBs. To us, this matchup comes across as a high-risk play on either player. And that’s reflected in the marks.

 Patriots Inside Linebackers

Ja’Whaun Bentley (?)
3/5
Terez Hall
2.5/5
Josh Uche
2/5
Anfernee Jennings
1/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Bills. Again, one of those bottom of the barrel matchups on paper versus a team in the bottom three in allowing production to the ILBs. If Bentley is out with his hammy, half marks can trickle down to the next two. We’ll also note that the Patriots ran with more defensive backs versus the Bills in week eight. So much so that Bently was the only ILB to see significant playing time, and that was with only 60% of the snaps. We aren’t so sure owners will want to “reach” here this week.

Jets Inside Linebackers

Neville Hewitt
3.5/5
Harvey Langi (IR)
0/5
Patrich Onwuarsor (IR, again)
0/5
Blake Cashman (IR)
0/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Browns. And with Langi (neck) hitting the I.R., it’s no time to assume who’ll play next to Hewitt. Any reports should be taken with a grain of salt and ignored.

AFC west

 Broncos Inside Linebackers

Alexander Johnson
4/5
Josey Jewell
3.5/5
Joe Jones
1/5
Nigel Bradham
0.5/5
Mark Barron
1/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Chargers. And adding that both main guys had ten combined tackles a piece the last time they played. We just can’t add any upside because of recent consistency issues with both players.

Chiefs Inside Linebackers

Anthoney Hitchens (C/O)
0/5
Damien Wilson (?)
2/5
Ben Niemann
2/5
Willie Gay
2/5
Dorian O’Daniel
2/5

See New Chart Key Above  -Advice/Note: As marked versus the Saints. And Nieman will come into play again if Wilson is out. But we have to be honest, we don’t know this for a fact and it’s hard to tell what the heck the Chiefs do from week to week. Anyone on here is a desperation play, but one with huge rewards if you get lucky and pick the right player.

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Falcons. Hitchens hitting the COVID list isn’t why everyone is marked as they are. It’s the history of trust issues with this group on who plays and who gets what amount of snaps if they do. Add in the on-paper results from what the matchup brings, it’s just too risky to even guess what will happen.

Chargers Inside Linebackers

Kenneth Murry
2.5/5
Kyzir White (?)
2/5
Denzel Perryman (?)
2/5
Nick Vigil
2/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Broncos. One, the Broncos are bottom five allowing production to the ILBs. Second, the last time these two teams meet Murry had four combined tackles with 100% of the snaps. And White had five combined with just 56%. Finally, if White is in and at full health, it likely could knock out Vigil. Same with Perryman resulting in one high-risk situation overall.

Raiders Inside Linebackers

Nicholas Morrow (?)
3.5/5
Nick Kwiatkoski
3/5
Cory Littleton
2/5
Raekwon McMillan
0.5/5

Advice/Note (If Any): As marked versus the Dolphins if Morrow (Concussion) plays. If he doesn’t, the marks trickle downward.
