Those are defensive ends in the NFL’s 4-3 defensive scheme and are now located with the 3-4 schemed Outside Linebackers in the new Edge Rusher charts. So if you do not see your players name, and unsure as to why. They likely can be found there, where we apply an even deeper formula to get these weekly start/sits right for IDP sack-heavy formats.

Attention, Please! As mentioned in the examples real in-depth Advice/Notes are an option when they are needed. And considering that the Edge Rushers opposition in the NFL, for the most part, is stable, users will start noticing that those notes and such will start diminishing as we go.

Advice/Note: The amount of rotation week one was just too vast to suggest that anyone would overachieve versus a Colts OL that held the Jags in check so well. On paper, this comes out as an avoid and we’ll monitor who begins to get the major playing time down the road if any do. This just might have been a situation that the vikes treated like a normal preseason contest in week one to evaluate their players.

Advice/Note: Brown’s week one performance carries some weight in upside in his designation. What his owners need to keep in mind is that the Bucs shut out the Saints interior D-Lineman in week one. So if you’re going here, there is some real risk to if the rookie can get it done.

Advice/Note: This unit either really let us down in week one versus the Bucs, or the Bucs OLs really secured the interior line to protect Tom Brady. Either way, they will have to prove themselves as this sorts itself out and IDP owners have to keep that in mind on paper versus the Raiders.

Advice/Note: Everyone was shut down last week except for Gholston versus the Saints. And with just 50% of the snaps and his lackluster history, one has to wonder if it was because he was considered the weak link to go at by the Saints. With that being said on paper this week these guys should do better as a unit, but trust issues early one just hampers the on-paper results.

Advice/Note: As we mentioned last week that this group would likely succeed versus the Steelers, and they did. We’re going to the opposite end versus the Bears in week two. On paper, this group always just gets what’s there “by the formula” results are. So we’ll trust again with them heading to Chicago. And who knows, maybe things have changed somehow and they’ll beat the odds of history.

Advice/Note: Unfortunately, in rotation, the production in week one was spread out among this group. And with the also Rams holding off the Cowboys interior pretty well week, it doesn’t look so solid this week for IDP owners to go here. Advice/Note: Unlike the very young Washington edge rushers, this interior D-Line has proven talent on it. Our problem other than the formula results for week two versus the Cardinals is the snap counts. The rotation between Allen and Ioannidis was darn near 50-50. And since the cardinals OLs are in way better shape than the Eagles, we’re tempering expectations for this contest. That just means on paper in the end, this is “just solid” with no real upside this time around.

Advice/Note: We mentioned the gut to watch week one was Zack Allen and it ends up him and Blackson did produce in a tough contest. But in a perfect world, we would like to see more than 50% of the snaps on an interior lineman. And the only guy who got that was Petters, who did very little versus a tough 49ers OL. So heading into week two and with them playing Washington, who gifted production to the Eagles interiors and edge, we might not get a great read on Allen this week either.
