by | Nov 8, 2020

Welcome to the Fantasy Football IDP WK9 AFC Interior Defensive Lineman Start/Sit Charts presented by GridironRatings.com Where the only original and proven IDP start/sit chart “cheat sheets” via The IDP Tipster can be found. And yes, there are a few imitators, but there is only one true original five-step formula IDP tactical tool. A formula with a well-tested history for over a decade and a proven high-hit rate in IDP play well before sharing it with the public four years ago. And all of that history and relevancy is only available here for G.R. fantasy football family members.

Individual Defensive Players

Needing to split those IDP hairs between two or more players with the same color code? Besides our great Player Ratings located in the main menu, our Oddsmakers IDP tactical tools were originally intended to do just that. And they are located on our The IDP Tipster member page or perhaps even on our main article page.

Disclaimer: We do not suggest “reaching” for higher designated players over available known studs!

Fantasy Football IDP WK9

The Fantasy Football AFC Defensive Lineman IDP Start/Sits cheat sheet charts contain all the interior defensive lineman in both NFL defensive schemes.

If you are looking for names like Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, or Danielle Hunter…

Those are defensive ends in the NFL’s 4-3 defensive scheme and are now located with the 3-4 schemed Outside Linebackers in the new Edge Rusher charts. So if you do not see your players name, and unsure as to why. They likely can be found there, where we apply an even deeper formula to get these weekly start/sits right for IDP sack-heavy formats

3/5
Jack Crawford
0.5/5
Matt Dickson
0.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: They did not quite hit par last contest versus the Bengals. But on paper, this matchup versus the Bears is one we can’t ignore.

AFC East

 Bills Interior D-Lineman

Ed Oliver
2/5
Quinton Jefferson
2/5
Vernon Butler (?)
2/5
Harrison Phillips
1.5/5
Justin Zimmer
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: On paper there just isn’t enough in favor of this squad to mark them higher versus the Seahawks.

Dolphins Interior D-Lineman

Christian Wilkins
2/5
Zach Sieler
2/5
Raekwon Davis
1/5
Davon Godchaux (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: This squad, like all the Dolphin squads, overachieved big time versus the Rams last contest. But we can’t expect that to happen here in a much tougher on paper matchup versus the Cardinals.

 Patriots Interior D-Lineman

Lawrence Guy
3/5
Deatrich Wise Jr.
3/5
Adam Butler
2.5/5
Byran Cowart
2.5/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: The matchup versus the Jets is really solid. But the main two guys here fluctuate in snap counts almost every week. So it’s a matter of picking your pony and hoping you got the right guy. Because rarely do both of these players produce in the same contest. If it helps, here are the last three weeks of snaps for these main two players. With both of them questionable and playing on Monday, it might be worth looking elsewhere.

Wise WK6- 59%, WK7- 45%, and WK8- 81%.

Guy WK6- 77%, WK7- 62%, and WK8- 33%.

Adding, Guy went down in week 8 and it explains Wise’s jump in snaps, to a point. And via the latest reports, Guy is the one that is pretty”iffy” for Monday. So wise might be the better pony to pick if someone has to go here. And as for the other two players, they play a lot less on average.

Jets Interior D-Lineman

Quinnen Williams (D)
3/5
Folorunso Fatukasi
3/5
Henry Anderson
3/5
Nathan Shephard (?)
2/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: With Williams doubtfully it falls to the next guys up to produce by default in this really solid matchup on paper. This is one of those cases where there will be stats to record based on what the Patriots allow. And because of the “talent” level, we can only mark them at the gifted ceiling we expect.

AFC west

 Broncos Interior D-Lineman

Dre’mont Jones
2/5
Deshawn Williams
2/5
Shelby Harris (O)
0/5
Jurrell Casey (IR/C)
0/5
Mike Purcell (IR)
0/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Having matchups versus the Falcons can seem a little odd on paper. Because while they are top three in allowing production to the edge rushers, they are bottom three in allowing it to the interior lineman. So with Harris out, we have nothing to suggest here.

Don’t get confused if you see that Casey is marked as just “out” on sites. Some have changed his status from the I.R. to something else because he hit the COVID list. He is done for the season via the reports we see and will be marked as I.R. after his COVID situation is over.

Chiefs Interior D-Lineman

Chris Jones
2.5/5
Derrick Nnadi
2/5
Tershawn Wharton
1.5/5
Mike Pennel
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: Jones really let us down versus the Jets, last contest. The jets gift points to the IDLs, but yet he did nothing to speak of. Instead, Wharton came out of nowhere to have one of his best contest of the season.

And of course, this week versus the Panthers t is barely there on paper. And we’ll have to roll with that with Jones because he really only has been getting what’s there and not overachieving as he has in the past. With that said, he is “barely” just solid.

Chargers Interior D-Lineman

Linval Joseph
3/5
Jerry Tillery
3/5
Justin Jones
3/5
Damion Square
2/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: On paper this matchup versus the Raiders is strong. But at the same time, on paper, when we look at what these players do on average, it is not. And that average figured in hampered their marks big time. If it matters, last contest Joseph saw about 70% of the snaps while Tillery was at 57%. And Jones in his first game back from the I.R. went for 51%. Oddly enough, it was the guys with the least amount of snaps that managed to produce in the last contest.

Raiders Interior D-Lineman

Johnathan Hankins
3/5
Maurice Hurst (O)
0/5
Maliek Collins
3/5
David Irving
1/5

See New Chart Key Above -Advice/Note: They play each other (versus Chargers), so it’s only fitting the mirror each other (basically). please read the Chargers notes and apply here.
