The Author's Fantasy Football Free Agency "Take"

The TE market just lost one of its studs. Hunter Henry has been Franchise tagged by the Chargers. Henry was expected to have a hot market for interested teams like the Packers, Bears, and Steelers. But instead stays home with a team looking for a new franchise QB.

The move makes it clear they view Henry as a top-level TE who has had an unfortunate run of injuries, much like Keenan Allen early in his career. After breaking out for 8 TD’s his rookie year, he missed the entire the 2018 season and started the 2019 season missing the first 4 games. He showed promise with a 16 game pace of 73 receptions, 868 yards, and 7 TDs. With Antonio Gates finally retired and Henry expected to start the season healthy, you can already see his fantasy hype rising right before your eyes.
