IDP Chat Room

All original and proven IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts are based on a five step formula method. This formula is used on an accumulate amount of information data, stats, trends and info. And of course the knowledge of reading these in the formula used. These formulas were under development for approximately seven seasons before being shared with the general public. And in that process the Charts can claim in the general area, on average,  of at least a 80% hit rate. Although in years past this has been tested and proven we have to keep in mind that in fantasy football it is always “any given Sunday”.

The IDP Fantasy Football Easy Start/Sit Charts Relevance

Users of these charts should always keep certain things in mind when using these charts.

  1. The fifth element of the five step formula used is the mind behind it’s innovation. So there is a human aspect to reading these results and the delivery.
  2. All input into these charts are raw at the beginning of the seasons until the core information catches up with that seasons data, stat, and trends. The first three weeks on average are basically a warm up period. As some end of the year information from the prior season is included. This is until on average around week four of each season we have established the current season’s own material. This in turn is the strength of the charts. And just in time for the important bye-weeks.
  3. Never sit a stud! As a disclaimer and delivery we need to always keep in mind that sitting a known” stud” over a player that is not isn’t advisable. The charts are meant to split the IDP hairs among the level of players talent. And it is never advisable to “reach” for a player in play if those “IDP hairs” are minimal.
  4. These Charts are based on match ups versus talent of said players when it is boiled down to it. And trusting the charts do take a commitment. That is not included in our delevery and soley on the users.

Outside Linebackers are listed here?

The outside linebackers in the 3-4 defensive scheme are listed here as edge rushers. The are basically stand-up defensive ends in the 4-3 scheme, comparably. The outside linebackers in the 4-3 are listed in the inside linebacker charts. Splitting those IDP Fantasy Football hairs!

Week Six

Easy Start/Sit Charts

East Notes:

Bills: Bye Week

Dolphins: Versus the Redskins. Godchaux and Wilkins may be sitting on the waiver wire after their bye week. Both were under-owned prior to the bye as well. And this match-up on paper is solid, nothing more. But both have over-performed in prior contest and that “upside” is there this week.

Patriots: Versus the Giants. Warning is that last contest the Patriots started pulling starters after the contest was well in hand. One has to wonder if that’s the case this week. The main player to take the hit in snap count was Simon. Too be sure this was the case we might want to pump the breaks this week.

Jets: Versus the Cowboys. As Marked. Just not worth the risk as the “on paper” match-up is weak as it gets. Quinnen Williams did make a nice impact in his return last contest, but it was a favorable one. We should give it another “not favorable” one and see what happens before we go and risk playing him going forward. Leonard Williams has become an avoid, just noting he isn’t getting the production versus the talent.

West Notes:

Broncos: Versus the Titans. This green bye week plays marked are as a general unit. Each marked are going to get the snaps and have a favorably strong match-up on paper. Reed had a real nice contest last weekend as the replacement for Chubb at the OLB/Edge. With that being said, he received 90% of the snaps and we can’t ignore this fact.

Chiefs: Versus the Texans. As marked, too bad Clark hasn’t lived up to his hype joining this defense. At this point we “could” mark him green as a deep bye week player. But we just can’t bring ourselves to actually doing it.

Chargers: Versus the Steelers. As marked noting that the match-up is actually weak. But can we really ever sit Bosa when healthy? If you can afford to with a stronger play somewhere in another stud, then we can here.

Raiders: Bye Week

North Notes:

Ravens: Versus the Bengals. Shocker the DL/Edges of the Ravens over-performed at a high level last contest after “lacking” thus far. So according to the in-formula and on-paper match-up they are strong this week. Hence the Bengals are top notch on average to allowing points to the DLs. According to our resources those green bye week plays have everything going for them to produce this contest. One should expect at least “solid”.

Browns: Versus the Seahawks (at home). Mentioning “at home” based off the idea that Garrett is strong. Ogunjobi is sitting positive, but via the formula not enough.

Steelers: Versus the Chargers. Noting that Hargrave took a snap count hit last contest. And we couldn’t find a reason why.

South Notes:

Texans: Versus the Chiefs. Just enough, ride out Reader again if you enjoyed what you got last time. Just don’t expect more than solid.

Colts: Bye Week.

Jaguars: Versus the Saints. As marked, noting Campell’s average via on the “on paper. Not to mention this is more important to the Jags at home than the Saints on the road. Ngakoue and Allen have some “upside”, deep.

Titans: Versus the Broncos. They give and take (Broncos). Meaning that if you got them, looks solid, if you don’t, don’t reach! And noticing that Gilbert is on our radar.
