2021 Defensive Lineman R.O.S. Ranking Ratings: IDL/DT
Welcome to the Tipster’s 2021 Interior Defensive Lineman R.O.S. Ranking Ratings (IDL/DT). Built for Gridiron Ratings members based on our MSR vs. player production. It’s that time of the season to think ahead a little. So we’ve applied our current match-up strengths to our fantasy football player production. Translating the NFL schedule strength philosophy to our forecasted IDP values.
We are suggesting that IDP owners stay flexible the rest of the season. And in standard formats consider only the top 16 as locks. As for the rest feel free to adjust accordingly to our start/sit rating charts.
In other words, it’s way too early to set a player and forget. There are bye-weeks to deal with and any NFL given NFL situation can change without a moment’s notice. 2021 has been an odd fantasy football season in terms of IDP. So let’s not relax just yet. We still have a lot of work ahead of us to make it to the playoffs.
This IDL/DT Chart
This chart contains players from the NFL known as interior defensive lineman players. Those include the 3-4 schemed defensive ends, nose tackle, and defensive tackle. And the two 4-3 schemed defensive tackles.

A “breakout” player is a fantasy football person who has been ineffective or marginal in the past. Then suddenly becomes a fantasy football stud one year. A “sleeper” is a term used mostly during drafts. The term refers to players that fantasy managers believe are set to have a breakout season. The word “sleeper” comes from the idea the player is being overlooked. And so is their potential of breaking out that season. – Google
